Men Alive! is a group which meets bi-monthly with the intention of encouraging men to become the men whom God has called them to be. We seek to empower the men in our ministry to be good fathers, husbands and sons in a society that tells and teaches them otherwise. We believe that it is important that men understand that Church is not just for their wives and mothers but that God has called them too to be a part of the body of Christ.
Meetings consist of worship and teaching, as well as a range of social activities such as walking, football, and bowling. The aim of these activities is to encourage the men to develop their relationship with God and their friendships with other men.
Once a year the men also go on a residential weekend aimed at developing and strengthening relationships among them.
Men Alive! forms an integral part of the discipleship programme within Beverley Community Church.
