Who are We?
Beverley Community Church is a bunch of people from all different age groups and backgrounds. We believe that God is real and that he can make a difference in our lives on a daily basis. Many amongst us can tell stories of when God has done just that.
All are welcome to come and join us.
When Should I arrive?
Our Sunday morning meeting starts at 10:30am. In order to get a good seat you should aim to arrive around 10:20. No seats are reserved so sit where you like. If you have any questions on arrival, our welcome team will be glad to help you.
Where do you meet?
We meet at the Memorial Hall in Beverley Town Centre.
Is there parking?
The town centre car parks are free on a Sunday. Please use any of the car parks nearest to the Memorial Hall.
What should I wear?
You should wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Many of us wear jeans and T-shirts; some wear suits; some smart/casual. We are an informal church.
What Should I expect?
Going anywhere for the first time can be scary but hopefully it will not be too scary coming to BCC.
Generally our meetings follow the same kind of pattern: a time of lively worship (modern songs and informal prayers) followed by some notices, and sometimes a presentation on something we are doing. Finally, some Bible teaching which will normally last for between 25 to 35 minutes. Groups are provided to teach and look after any children while the Bible teaching is going on.
At the end of this we serve tea and coffee to give time for members to catch up and for us to meet and greet non-members. The service lasts about 1 hour.

VISION
We have a threefold vision. We want to see people come to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they may have hope for the present and for the future, and that they may become part of the community of God’s people, seeking to share His love with the world around them. All of our activities are aimed at fulfilling these three aims.
VALUES
We believe that Beverley Community Church has been established to be a place of grace and hope for all people. We want all who come in amongst us to encounter the living God and to begin their journey of faith with him.

HISTORY
Beverley Community Church was established in 1988 as an independent charismatic evangelical church. The emphasis of the church has always been to achieve growth by new birth rather than relocating the saints.
For 10 years the church was led by Mark Hutton who, in 2001, moved to Lincoln to support the ministry of Stuart Bell. Following Mark’s departure, Richard Bradbury took over the reins and has been leading the church up until the present.
The church has existed for periods of its history in multiple congregations, however, the current vision of the church is to grow the existing congregation in order to be a blessing to Beverley and the surrounding area.
