28-30 April 2017

With this year being the 500th anniversary of the Reformation our theme is
Re-Formation and our focus will be on the radical Christian life. Come ready to lay down anxieties and believe God for a touch and challenge in our lives. Time to relax and focus on God.

The venue again is the popular Wyedale Hall in Wyedale near Scarborough.

Our guest speaker this year is Helen Azer who is Anglo-Egyptian and grew up in Egypt. She went to a German school in Cairo where she developed a passion for other nations, cultures and languages. She returned to the UK in 1994 to finish her schooling and then to study History and German at Christ Church College, Oxford.

While in Germany studying Reformation history, Helen felt God’s call to full-time Christian ministry. She trained at Wycliffe Hall theological college, Oxford, and was ordained as a minister in the Church of England in 2004. She completed the practical side of her training on staff at St Aldates Church, Oxford, in 2007. Helen joined Heartcry Ministries in 2007 and is now a Director of the ministry and also volunteers at St Andrews Church in Cumnor, Oxford.

Helen enjoys the privilege of touching people’s lives at home and abroad through preaching, teaching and training. She loves connecting with the bigger picture of what God is doing nationally and internationally as she travels with Heartcry and ministers in conferences, retreats and training days.
